One of my first jobs as an engineer for Mobil Oil was the station at Sunset and Swarthmore in 1977. And I thought wouldn't it be great to live here as I drank my coffee at Pierre’s Pastry. Then in 1984 my husband, Martin Kappeyne, and I moved here and as they say the rest is history.
