About the Event
Music Meadow will take place at Simon Meadow in Temescal Park, Pacific Palisades — an afternoon of live music featuring student bands from Palisades High School, Crossroads, Windward and New Roads. The event is part of TREEAMS, the student-led movement which brings young people across Los Angeles together to plant trees, restore community and rebuild hope.
Inspired by Dr. Jane Goodall, TREEAMS has grown into a network of students, schools and community partners committed to environmental stewardship and resilience. Students are engaging in meaningful leadership opportunities. High school leaders are training to teach workshops to younger students on the interconnectivity of ecosystems and the importance of trees, as well as capturing the stories of families who lost their homes in the fire.
