Join us for a day of learning how to stay prepared as we return to the Palisades – it's all about safety and building community! These sessions are designed to be informative, practical, and supportive, with time to connect with neighbors while building confidence around emergency preparedness.

About the Event

Morning Session: Ready Your LA Neighborhood (RYLAN)

9:00 AM – 9:30 AM

Introductions & Meet your neighbors. Breakfast will be provided.

9:30 AM – 11:30 PM

Led byRick Pope, City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Coordinator

RYLAN is a neighborhood-based preparedness program designed to help small groups of neighbors get to know one another and understand what to do immediately after a disaster. The session walks through a practical 9-step framework covering communication, safety, skills, resources, and coordination - tailored to the specific needs of your block.
