The guest speaker for our June Dinner Meeting is none other than the mighty Lee Calvert. For those of you who don’t know of her I can guarantee you that you’re in for a big surprise. She’ll inspire you, bring tears of joy and laughter to your heart, and hope that you too might end up with her vitality. Full of piss ‘n vinegar, you’ll sit in your seat awestruck wondering how she does it.

She was a member of the Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce and received the Arnie Wishnick award. She’s a member of the Americanism Parade Association (PAPA), and the Optimist Club.

She was inducted into the Badminton Hall of Fame, played badminton worldwide, and won three gold medals in the Huntsman World Senior Games. She’s worked in the film industry, much of which she was saddled alongside Lucy, the one and only. As a result of Covid and the pandemic she was robbed of the regular Zumba and exercise classes she attended at the YMCA three times weekly. Hence, she began her own exercise routine at home. She’s competitive and filled with determination. You won’t believe what this lady does. That will be the surprise plus one more very big one that will have you shaking your heads in wonder. And that’s a promise!

Hospitality for this event is assigned to Women with Last Names I-P. Please bring two beverages (bottle of wine, sparkling water or other nonalcoholic beverage you would serve in your own home).
