Be it Tom Hanks or antique typewriters, Orson Wells or old rocking chairs, Collections, Antiques and Books definitely has it all. Jeff’s Independent Book Store is like a go-to vacation. Without the food, that is, still with many perks.

The shelves are filled with endless choices, all organized by Jeff, who took the store over a year and a half ago. As in most any bookstore, he has everything from history, to fiction, to non-fiction to children’s. But too, he has art, antique china, chairs…and everything’s for sale. The store exudes a warmth, a “come on in and sit down” feel. With welcoming plates filled with chocolate kisses, to his collection of antique clocks. It’s the kind of place that shouts out “y’all come back soon.”

Jeff also creates book collections, putting them together, organizing in not only a strategic manner, but appealing, having something for everyone. And whatever he doesn’t have, he will gladly order.

As was the case with the Shop Around the Corner in “You’ve Got Mail”, Jeff’s bookstore has that neighborhood feel, and thankfully he’s not going to get gobbled up by a box store
