About the Event
Join us for a memorial evening of connection and reflection as we come together to share food, stories, and support. This will be a safe and welcoming space for our members to acknowledge the impact of the fire and begin the healing process—together.
We are honored to welcome fellow Palisadian Susan Whitmore, Founder and CEO of griefHaven (A PPWC Grant recipient), as our guest speaker. Susan will lead a thoughtful conversation about grief and trauma, offering guidance and compassion drawn from over two decades of experience. She will also be available to answer any questions you may have.
Susan founded griefHaven, an internationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to supporting those experiencing grief and trauma. A long-time resident of the Palisades, Susan personally experienced loss in the fire, including the destruction of the griefHaven office.
